Our latest additions to our dental team all come with years of experience in providing quality dental care, so even though you may see fresh, new faces on your next visit you can be assured you are getting the same friendly, professional dental care you have come to expect. William M. Netzley D.D.S. Dr. Netzley Helping Children-One Smile at a Time
It is not often that you get the chance to help others while helping yourself. We are excited to share the news that the annual Smiles for Life campaign has begun. Dr. Netzley will offer professional teeth whitening services at a significantly reduced price, and donate 100% of the proceeds to help children facing serious health and educational problems. Dr. Netzley will contribute 50 percent to the Garth Brooks? Teammates for Kids Foundation and 50 percent to the local children?s Hospital and Charity, Fresno?s own Ronald McDonald House. "The professional tooth whitening procedure is painless and only requires a few minutes in the dental office. Patients can have whiter teeth in just three days?but those minutes that you spend at home and in the office can help touch a child?s life forever" explains Dr. Netzley. "My team and I are ready to professionally whiten people?s teeth for a great cause, and I am inviting all members of my community to make an appointment with me during my Smiles for Life campaign to give themselves - and a child - a reason to smile!" This year?s campaign kicks off March 1st. This marks the 5th year of the Smiles for Life find-raising event. Since the campaign began four years ago, nearly $17,000,000 has distributed to over 300 different Children?s Charities across North America. As a Dental team, we love the opportunity to be able to do something that makes a difference in the lives of so many children. It is important for you to know that without participants, our donation of time and skill would be worthless. We want to thank all that have helped make last years event a success by purchasing whitening services during our campaign. The results would not be possible without them. It has been great seeing the beautiful smiles of our patients after performing whitening services-but it is even better to see the smiles on the faces of the children our contributions will help support. As this year?s campaign starts we would like to ask you for your help in getting the word out.
Thanks in advance for your help. Remember, if you have whitened in the past and are in need of whitening refill syringes you will want to purchase them now during this fundraising event. 100% of the cost of refills also goes to the Smiles for Life Foundation. To whiten your smile and brighten the life of a child, contact Dr. Netzley and schedule an appointment today! Many Happy Smiles, Dr. Netzleys' Dental Team
Fresno Dental Care 5151 N. Palm Suite 450 Fresno, CA. 93704 559-227-4078 Hygiene Quick Tip: Your Mouthwash Could Be Causing More Harm Than Good
People believe that mouthwash can treat or cure bad breath. Unfortunately, most conventional mouthwashes only temporarily mask bad breath and are useless at treating it. In fact, most conventional mouthwashes can actually contribute to bad breath formation. This is because mouthwashes contain a high percentage of alcohol, which tends to dry out the mouth. Bacteria responsible for creating bad breath grow much better and faster in drier mouths. However there is a new breed of mouthwash that is very effective in treating bad breath and fighting Gingivitis. These mouthwashes contain Chlorhexidine Gluconate that actually attacks the bacteria found in the mouth on a molecular level. Of course, the best ways to prevent bad breath is to brush & floss daily, and maintain your smile with regular dental cleanings with your hygienist. Chronic bad breath can be a sign of Gingivitis or Periodontal/Gum Disease. If you have any questions or concerns about bad breath or how you can treat it, please call the office for more information.
Keep Smiling!

Dr. Netzley's Team Adopts Mrs. Ayalas' 2nd Grade Class At Edison Bethune Elementary School in Fresno Our team is excited to announce that we have recently adopted a second grade class at Edison elementary. We believe education is key to a child?s independence, health and overall future. We wanted to make education a positive experience for a young group of kids and Mrs. Ayala was kind enough to welcome our office to work with her class. The class is made up of a great group of kids who come from diverse range of ethnic backgrounds and family settings. There are 11 girls and 9 boys in our class. We have been celebrating good test scores with class treats, which range from cupcakes to toys. Last week, Dr. Netzley gave his first American Indian flute lesson to the class. The children loved his performance and Dr. Netzley will be visiting the class next time with their own personal flute recorders so that each student will have a music lesson and exposure to a celebrated culture. The kids also receive regular dental health talks and quizzes, as well as there own toothbrushes, toothpaste & flossers. We are lucky to be able to work with such an energized and bright group of children. We want to motivate them to work hard in their studies, maintain good dental health and enjoy the simple pleasures of childhood. We hope to post recent pictures of our visits with Mrs. Ayala?s class on our website at www.fresnodentalcare.com and here in our office for our patients to share with us. We welcome any ideas or contributions for the class. The children are in constant need of supplies, such as pencils, art supplies and teaching aids, your kindness would be treasured by the class and by our dental team.Best Wishes! Dr. Netzleys? Dental Team
